At Velvet Essence, our apparel is designed to be worn, loved, and cared for with intention. Following these simple care guidelines will help preserve the fabric, colour, and fit of your garments over time.

Washing Instructions

• Hand wash recommended for best longevity
• Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle
• Use cold water (30°C or below)
• Wash inside out
• Wash with similar colours
• Use mild detergent only

Do not bleach

Drying

• Air dry only
• Lay flat or hang in shade
• Avoid direct sunlight to prevent colour fading
• Do not tumble dry

Natural fibres may slightly relax after washing and return to shape when worn or gently steamed.

Ironing & Steaming

• Iron or steam on low to medium heat
• Iron inside out for best results
• Steam is preferred for delicate fabrics and embroidery

Avoid placing the iron directly on embroidery or textured details.

Fabric Characteristics

Our garments may be crafted from natural or blended fibres such as linen, cotton, viscose, or modal.

Please note:
• Slight texture variations are natural
• Minor colour differences may occur due to dyeing processes
• Wrinkling is a natural feature of linen-rich fabrics

Fit & Measurement Disclaimer

• Measurements may vary by ±1 cm due to manual measurement
• Fit may vary slightly depending on fabric and cut

Storage

• Store folded or on padded hangers
• Avoid overcrowding in wardrobes
• Keep away from damp or humid areas

For long-term storage, store in a breathable garment bag.
